It’s snowing tonight. We don’t get a lot of snow here in Middle Tennessee. We’re about 90 minutes or less north of the Alabama border, so we’re just too far south for that, it’s rarely cold enough for snow. But today, we’re getting some pretty white stuff to just cover up the surfaces of things. Supposedly, it’s going to warm up this evening as this front passes through our area, turning the white to wet. I expect to wake up tomorrow morning to one disappointed 12 year old, who will be mildly upset that it won’t be one of our rare snow days. We shall see. Being so rare, even a small amount of snow can cause a day of school closures, particularly since a lot of Middle Tennessee kids have long bus rides on narrow, twisting back roads.
Even if there is school tomorrow, it looks pretty tonight.
